Youth Summit

The Got It? Youth Summit is a county-wide experience for high school students interested in promoting health and safety through the prevention of underage drinking.  Our time will be spent in brainstorming sessions and outdoor activities at Lincoln Lake Camp in Gowen – just northwest of Greenville.

We will explore three main ideas of healthy living, including: 1) What Choices We Have, 2) How To Stand By Those Choices, and 3) How To Connect With Others Who Have Those Same Standards.  Each participant will have a voice in how to help promote healthy choices and prevent the painful consequences of underage drinking.

We will begin Saturday, March 17 @ 1:00 p.m. and end Sunday, March 18 by 1:00 p.m. All food, lodging and activities at Lincoln Lake Camp are included in the summit!  This event is basically an over-nighter with a larger purpose!  You will get a free T-shirt, education materials, and tools on how to support others to become their best selves.

TO PARTICIPATE:

There is no fee to attend the summit.  To be eligible to attend the summit, however, individuals need to complete and submit an application.  We are limited to 50 participants.  These participants will be selected based on the applications submitted.
